Sister, Faye was simply, Faye to some and to others, Tom's wife, but regardless how each person knew her the end result was the same, a stern, Godly woman. Sister Faye wasn't afraid to serve God in the fashion she was made, a woman, a helpmate, a servant and child of God, a mother and a friend. Sister Faye presented herself in Godly apparrel, regardless if it was due to her childhood raising, her devotion to her husband, Tom or the convictions of God in her life that caused it. A helpmate she was to her loving husband and to the needs of others when it was made known to her. A servant she was to God and she liked being on time, just like her hearing the final call and following after Jesus one last earthly time. A mother she was by trying to do the best she could while setting the best example for her family.
Proverbs 27:6
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
A friend, Sister Faye truly was and sometimes a friend like her would tell you the truth, even if it ruffled your feathers. Is Jesus your friend and ruffling your feathers by speaking the truth to you about your salvation?
