Brother, Tom was physically a quite man from what most in the church noticed, but his presence spoke loudly, even when he was unable to attend. Brother, Tom's love of God could be seen when his gentle smile would appear after a fiery sermon was preached. To hear someone with as many years of wisdom as Brother, Tom say, Amen would often uplift the spirits of the whole church.
A lot of things don't last in this old world, but one thing surely stood the test of time and that was Brother, Tom's love for his wife, Faye. To see Brother, Tom and Sister, Faye sit together in church would make you take notice and think, I hope that is the way it will be for me as I get older.
God's word in The King James Version (KJV) bible, tells us :
Isaiah 46:4
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
( God has kept his word and delivered Brother, Tom )
